ABOUT ME

Tyler Kinnaman is a composer committed to creating intimate and expressive music reflecting emotions, character and expression. His background in rock music, musical theater, and classical music finds its way into his creative compositional voice and diverse style. He has written two albums with his band, Lake 22 (@lake22.music), co-written two musicals, and composes music in several other musical genres from classical works to songwriting in pop and rock styles.
His musical theater work, "Life Of A Reaper," was selected as a winner for the American Theater Wing’s national Musical Theater Songwriting Competition and collaborated with mentors Jay Adana and Patrick Sulken. The song was professionally produced in New York and sung by various Broadway actors such as Nic Rouleau (currently Elder Price in Book of Mormon) and T.Oliver Reid (currently Hermes in Hadestown). Tyler is currently working towards a bachelor's degree and studying music composition with composer Elinor Armer at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
